HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
This is THE most important question you can ask by far. DO NOT, DO NOT use “senior moving consultants” or whatever they like to call themselves to pack your items. It will save you an invaluable amount of money. Their packing charges, which are the biggest expense, are 3 to 4 times the cost of using a moving company to pack your items, and there is no reason for it. Do yourself a favor: get multiple quotes, including from a moving company.
WHY HIRE A PRO? CAN’T I DO IT MYSELF?
You certainly can try to do it all yourself, but buying boxes, doing all the packing and unpacking (and properly so nothing is broken), finding someone to sell or dispose of all unwanted items, hiring a cleaning service, etc., can be overwhelming. Among the most common comments we hear from our customers is “We could have never done this without you” and “Hiring your services was one of the best decisions we ever made”.

ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, all our workers are fully insured and bonded. Our movers are also completely background checked and drug screened.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON PACKING AND MOVING DAY?
We try to staff your job sufficiently and spread out the process in order to make it as short a day as possible. We respect and understand that this can be an exhausting experience. If closings or other circumstances require a tighter spread and longer day, we will accommodate you.
WHAT ABOUT ARTWORK/PICTURES?
We can hang them for you.
WHAT ABOUT ELECTRONICS?
We unplug and reconnect all computers, TV’s VCR’s, lamps, and clocks if needed. If you have several TV changers, computer accessories, etc., please mark them individually.
PLANTS?
Real plants can be moved locally, but not across state lines. Do not water any plants within 2 days of moving due to water spillage and the fact plants can uproot easier in moist soil.
WHAT ABOUT MY JEWELRY?
Always take all jewelry and cash with you separately or keep on your person.
I AM WORRIED ABOUT MY CLOSET CLOTHES GETTING WRINKLED.
The movers provide wonderful wardrobe boxes with hanger bars so that your clothes do not get wrinkled. They can be provided before move day if you would like to hang them, or the packers or movers will hang them in the boxes for you. We will also hang them in your new closets for you if you desire.
MUST WE DISPOSE OF ALL BOXES?
No. we will take all boxes and debris with us at the end of the move.
