O'Briens handled our move recently and we could not be more pleased. The movers were all courteous, hard working and efficient. They were careful with all of our belongings and made sure large furniture and breakable items were wrapped carefully and securely. When they faced an obstacle they worked together as a team to figure out a solution. they all seemed to have a wealth of knowledge about moving any kind of furniture or equipment. I used the wardrobe boxes and the movers encouraged me to pack as much as possible in them - they didn't care how heavy they were!! When we arrived at our new home they covered all the flooring to avoid damage and placed everything where we asked them to and even made sure we were happy with the placement. This team was efficient, professional and friendly throughout the entire day. I am extremely pleased with this company and encourage anyone thinking of a moving company to call O'Briens!!

O'Brien's made our move smooth and stress free! We had a great crew! They were super hard workering, courteous and very respectful. We were in a time crunch for both closings and they told us not to worry, that they would have us out in time, and sure enough they did! Moving is always a challenging time and O’Briens was so helpful in making the transfer of all our possessions easier. They were able to hold our goods on a truck to accommodate our settlements and gave great care to the loading and unloading. I contacted two movers in my area (Reading, PA) to quote on my move to another part of Reading (a local move). The first mover's rep arrived in a very unprofessional outfit and did not give me a quote (even a ballpark one) while at my home. I had to call them 3 times before I finally got a written quotation (about 10 days after their rep visited my home). The second mover (O'Brien's) rep arrived promptly and was dressed professionally, had a tablet computer and proceeded to give me a WRITTEN quotation on the spot. It was a bit lower than the first mover--but I decided then and there that O'Brien's would get my business. The day of the move, the crew arrived about 90 minutes later than scheduled; but, once they were there, they went about their tasks in a concerted and harmonious method; the move went off without any major hitches and I am very satisfied overall with the way O'Brien's handled by household move. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family who live in their service area.
